Keep track with my previous update on this project here:
Back to my long lasting project after a while. It’s really hard to keep working on one project and commit to the timeline.
Devil 1: it is just a side project and I do it for myself, not for any client. Fuck off Timeline.
Devil 2: I need more time, I need more shooting, I need to go out more.
Devil n: …
But actually these are all bad devils, and all I have to do is getting my ass moving.
My last update for this project is around 2 months ago. Since then, I keep shooting and the results come out quite good. It starts to make me think about digging deeper into human identity through their shadows. Which will lead to a very interesting body of work not just random photos of shadows I run into. And that’s the upcoming thing. Right now I really enjoy feeding my camera with all kinds of shadows.
This patch of photos below was shot when I attended an exhibition about Gender Behaviours. The part of that day was about the stories behind the images and were presented as a photo gallery and talk show. They talked about love in many forms. In parallel, I couldn’t help but think about human identity in the very attached form of shadows.
